As they expand their operations, they are seeking a dedicated and experienced Project Manager to join their dynamic team.
Role Overview:
Our client is looking for a skilled Project Manager with a strong background in joinery and some commercial knowledge. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing joinery projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Management: Lead and manage multiple joinery projects, coordinating with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth execution.
2. Budgeting & Cost Control: Develop and manage project budgets, monitor expenses, and ensure cost-effectiveness.
3. Scheduling: Create and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely completion and addressing any delays or issues that arise.
4. Quality Assurance: Ensure all joinery work meets our client's high-quality standards and complies with relevant regulations and specifications.
5. Client Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their needs and providing regular updates on project progress.
6. Commercial Knowledge: Apply commercial insight to project planning and execution, contributing to the overall success and profitability of the projects.
Qualifications:
7. Proven experience as a Project Manager in the joinery sector.
8. Strong understanding of joinery techniques and materials.
9. Knowledge of commercial aspects related to project management.
10. Excellent organisational and multitasking skills.
11. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
12. Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage tight deadlines.
13. Proficiency in project management software and tools.
