Job Title: KS2 SEN Outreach Tutor Location: East of England, Essex, South Ockendon Job Type: Temporary, Part-Time hours Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £20 - £30 Per day Job Duties: As a KS2 SEN Outreach Tutor, your primary responsibility will be to provide tailored educational support to Key Stage 2 students with special educational needs. This includes developing individualised learning plans, delivering engaging lessons, and monitoring progress closely. You will collaborate with school staff, parents, and external agencies to ensure the holistic development of each student. Required Qualifications: - Relevant teaching qualification - Experience working with children with special educational needs - Strong understanding of the UK education system Education: - A degree in Education or a related field Experience: - Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience - Experience in SEN teaching is highly desirable Knowledge and Skills: - Knowledge of SEN strategies and interventions - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs - Strong organisational and time management skills Preferred Qualifications: - Additional training in SEN support - Certification in specific learning disabilities Working Conditions: You will be working in a home setting. The role may require travel to different locations within the East of England region. Working hours will be part-time, with flexibility required to meet student needs.
