To provide a caring and stimulating environment for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years.
To ensure the health and well being of children in out care.
To actively contribute to the maintaining and recording of children's development and the sharing of information with other professionals both internally and externally.
Main duties of the job
To adhere to OFSTED standards and regulations.
To ensure compliance with the with child protection procedures.
To adhere to Trust and Nursery Policies and Procedures.
To maintain the health and safety of children in our care carrying out risks assessments as required.
To take the lead in challenging and providing quality care and education.

1. NNEB /BTEC/NVQ 3 in Early Years Care and Education or equivalent
2. GCSE English grade C or equivalent in English
Knowledge

3. Demonstrable communication and interpersonal skills
4. Knowledge of the Requirements of the Childcare Act 2009
5. Knowledge of safeguarding responsibilities and processes
6. Knowledge of Ofsted standards & regulations
