This is a great opportunity to join our well-respected, knowledgeable and friendly People & Culture Team! Initially, you will join us as a People & Culture administrator full time, before moving onto your apprenticeship, once you have successfully passed your probation. The apprenticeship is a 16-month program and you will develop a range of logical and analytical skills, learning how HR works in practice as you combine learning with the day-to-day support of the HR team.

Start Date: March 2024 (Enrolment onto Level 3 CIPD foundation in People Practice apprenticeship to commence in July 2024)
Salary: £24,000.00 per annum
Hours: Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm. 6 of these hours a week will be dedicated to off the job training as part of your apprenticeship. These hours will be taken flexibly throughout the week.
You will be expected to attend the office every day, for the first 3 months of employment, after which time a hybrid approach will be adopted, with attendance to the office at least 3 days per week.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Qualifications:
* 5 GCSEs at level C or above (or equivalent) to include Maths and English
* A levels or equivalent (desirable)
Experience:
* Experience of working within a professional services firm (desirable)
* Experience of using HR/payroll software (desirable)
* Experience with Word (basic) and Excel (intermediate)
Skills and Abilities:
* Discreet and pragmatic approach
* Good problem-solving skills
* Ability to operate and maintain agreed office administration procedures
* Ability to learn new processes and systems quickly
* Must be organised, methodical and accurate
* Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team
* Good communication skills both verbally and in writing
* IT literate including good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications
* Ability to think ahead and use initiative
* Ability to communicate courteously in a clear and concise manner with colleagues at all levels
* A polite, friendly and confident telephone manner
* Conscientious and common-sense approach to work
* High levels of accuracy and good attention to detail
