What you’ll do at work
As a Technical Apprentice, you will spend the first 10 months at IPS International learning Electronics, Bench fitting, Computer aided design, Soldering, Inspection, and Project-related tasks in order to give you the necessary skills to be successful when you return to site. In year 2 you will rotate through a range of different departments including an Engineering function, Operations, and several others to find out what work suits you best. In Year 3 we see what opportunities become available and arrange interviews to spend your final year in a placement where you can start to specialise and build your successful careers.
