You will undertake a Postgraduate Certificate in primary mental health care at University of Central Lancashire (UCLAN) for the duration of their training course. You will attend university for part of the week and will be working within the service for the remaining time of the week in order to implement and develop their skills in clinical practice.

NHS Talking Therapies provides stepped care evidenced-based treatment for people with mild to moderate common mental health problems such as anxiety and depression., This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills in evidence based low intensity cognitive behavioural therapy interventions for common mental health problems and to gain the accreditation you need to practice as a Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner (PWP).
