Position Overview:
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to support students’ learning and development. You will assist in the classroom, helping to create an inclusive and engaging environment for all students, particularly those with additional needs.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide support to teachers in delivering engaging lessons and activities.
2. Assist individual students or small groups, tailoring support to their specific needs.
3. Help maintain a positive and safe classroom environment.
4. Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to teachers.
5. Foster positive relationships with students, promoting their social and emotional development.
Qualifications:
1. Experience working with children, preferably in an educational setting.
2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
3. Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting young learners.
4. A relevant qualification (e.g., Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant) is desirable but not essential.
