We are seeking a talented individual to join our Marsh Portfolio Solutions (MPS) team at Marsh UK and Ireland. This role will be based in a hybrid model, requiring at least three days a week in the office. The Insurance Operations Specialist will play a crucial role in managing projects, working independently, and collaborating with various stakeholders across the company.
This is an interesting and varied technical role, providing exposure across key business areas. The work is complex and challenging, allowing you to become a subject matter expert within your field.
We will count on you to:
* Maintain an advanced understanding of the insurance industry and external regulatory environment and their procedural or operational implications for brokers and businesses.
* Work closely with the Account Executives, Brokers, Transactional Team, Claims team, and Technical Support Analysts to draft, check, and validate slips, contracts, and endorsements to a high standard.
* Support brokers in structuring and designing MPS facilities, producing Market Reform Contracts (MRC) and supporting documentation in accordance with latest Delegated Authority templates and MRC requirements.
* Coordinate with Account Executives based in London or Norwich offices (or elsewhere) as required.
* Serve as a point of contact for technical insurance questions and apply judgment on escalation.
* Manage workload to meet SLA, KPI, and Quality targets.
* Train and assist junior employees as needed.
What you need to have:
* ACII qualification or working towards it.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
* High attention to detail.
* Highly organized and methodical approach.
* Ability to work under pressure and develop relationships as an insurance expert.
