The Service:
The IT Service is a trusted service provider with significant experience in delivering high quality IT service delivery and infrastructure. We pride ourselves on understanding our partners' requirements and ensuring we work with them to deliver the right tools to help them achieve their outcomes. Our service portfolio includes IT service management, business engagement and consultancy, internet and internal network services including data centre commissioning and hosting, applications and system support. As a service, our ethos is to value others and focus on what's important to Portsmouth City Council and the outcomes for its customers. Working in partnership with our partners within PCC, our aim is to provide them with the technology and support to enable them to deliver the best possible service to the residents and businesses of Portsmouth.
Your New Role:
You will ensure that all solutions are implemented and configured to meet business needs by understanding historical data, business practice, future requirements, system functionality and capability. You will provide application support, advice and guidance to system users and owners to promote efficient, effective and accurate recording. You will carry out change request triage and ensure changes are managed and tested, and that risks are minimised. You will use your excellent negotiation and communication skills to influence positive outcomes, and will be a key member of the Mosaic Support Team, providing expertise and guidance.
What you'll need to succeed:
You have high-level comprehension of the Mosaic Software Application and of children's social care and safeguarding, and a good understanding of the YJB Core + Software Application Development Life Cycle. You are innovative, creative and an excellent communicator. You are accurate and efficient, with an excellent eye for detail, and are consistent, supportive, proactive and flexible in the way you deliver. You are committed to delivering exceptional customer service. You are educated to degree level or equivalent or have the required relevant experience.
You will need to demonstrate that you have the Right to Work in the UK. No post will be offered without it.
