Support Worker - Adult Residential - No Experience Needed
Location: Meldreth, Nr Royston, Cambridgeshire/Hertfordshire border - SG8 postcode area.
Salary: £11.72 - £12.78 per hour (linked to competency and qualifications) PLUS £1500 Welcome bonus*
Annual Salary: £24,375 - £26,582 per year for a 40 hour week
Hours: 40 hours per week (part-time hours available, minimum 24hrs per week)
Training: Full training provided and once passed probation we will support and fund studying the Level 3 diploma in Health and Social Care.
The Role:
As a support worker, you will be highly involved in personal care, supporting our young people with all aspects of personal hygiene including toileting, dressing, and maintaining their personal appearance. You will also assist with their medical needs and help with therapies such as rebound therapy or hydrotherapy in our newly renovated pool. We have sensory gardens, a skills centre, and dedicated rooms for art, music, and more.
Independence is encouraged wherever possible; the adults often choose their activities, so you could be helping with the site's enterprise scheme, going on shopping trips, participating in forestry lessons, or even visiting the pub!
Although no experience is required, we are looking for candidates to demonstrate:

* Ability to work on a rota pattern including every other weekend
