Your new company Due to ongoing requirements, one of Northern Ireland's Tier 1 Construction & Civil Engineering contractors is now recruiting for a Foreperson to oversee a key project in Co. Antrim. The company have established themselves as one of the most successful top tier contractors in Northern Ireland, specialising in multiple sectors including healthcare, education, commercial, retail, asset management and civil engineering. Our client has built an enviable industry name on their specialist team consistently delivering high quality service on £multi-million projects for global clients, which has led to a high level of repeat business. Due to their competitive nature, steadily growing order book and with a focus on profitable growth, they now have an imminent requirement for a Foreperson to join their team, initially on a temporary basis. Your new role As a result of an increasingly busy orderbook, this firm is looking for an experienced Foreperson to lead the internal trades on their latest project. You will be responsible for leading daily briefings and ensuring that the site team deliver the project within client time and budget targets. You will maintain a particular focus on health & safety protocols and quality whilst liaising closely with subcontractors. You will be overseeing the internal packages on a new steel-frame industrial development, with proven experience of working to demanding schedules and a successful track record of delivering £multimillion build schemes, sharing your expertise with the subcontractors and trades on-site. What you'll need to succeed In order to fulfil the needs of this role, you will ideally possess a high level of communication, organisation and the ability to uphold a high standard of work throughout the project. You will be extremely Health & Safety focused, whilst liaising closely with a key client. Someone with previous experience of industrial or commercial projects would excel in this role. A trade background is preferred for this role. It is required that you have suitable experience as a Foreperson working on £multimillion projects. Furthermore, you must hold a valid CSR Site Supervisor Card, CSCS, or SMSTS training certificate.
