Are you a Registered Nurse, Paediatric Nurse, Social worker, Occupational therapist, Teacher, Clinical Associate for Psychology (CAAP) or Community Youth Worker looking for a new role?
Do you have a passion for having a positive impact on children’s lives within a remote and rural community?
NHS Western Isles CAMHs are looking for a Community Mental Health Worker based in Uist & Barra to build on the capacity of CAMHs and to promote and support the mental health and wellbeing of children, young people and their families within the framework of the CAMHs Specifications and Integrated Children’s services plan. The post holder will work as part of a wider multi-disciplinary team with core responsibilities for the delivery of mental health care and treatment, delivering on training to lower tiers of CAMHs, and work in a liaison/consultation role bridging universal and specialist services. The post holder will be expected to carry a CAMHs caseload.
While working as an autonomous practitioner you will be well supported by an experienced team, working collaboratively with colleagues within the wider Children and Adolescent Mental Health service and have access to an individually tailored training programme.
