Job Requirements:
1. Reporting into the Defence IA Head of Delivery, the Value Stream Technology Lead for Digital Enabler will look to combine existing technology to provide a frictionless experience for defence customers be provided digital service.
2. The individual will be responsible for: developing a Technology strategy and roadmap for the Roke Defence Digital Platforms. Taking in to account key technology wide priorities maintaining and developing Roke Technology-wide micro-services hosting platform, service resiliency and management, cloud based technology solutions and the removal of legacy systems); sponsoring and driving the continued adoption and maturation of DevOps and agile principles.
3. The role will work in partnership with all Roke Defence IA Delivery Leadership and will lead a Product function with responsibility for technology including delivery, controls, service, and strategy.
4. Working alongside a Business Outcome lead who will be jointly accountable for the delivery as well as full commercialization of capabilities, including performance management of Digital Security journeys and products across all channels.
5. Provide thought leadership for all resources across multiple projects, technologies and portfolios.
6. Business wide implementation and coordination of Roke Defence IA’s Digital Enabler initiatives, working with business / Portfolio leads / Technology functions leads to provide optimised solutions and services.
7. Manage the efforts of software teams including all aspects of data processing design, development, acquisition, testing, conversion and production support.

8. Demonstrable past success in understanding and delivering towards customer growth in large, complex organizations.
9. Commercially viable and understands particularly digital customer needs including products, services and underlying processes to fulfil.
10. Demonstrable success in delivering Technology development of new and existing solutions required to enable realization of OKRs in line with the Technology resilience standards.
11. Ability to lead and influence teams.
12. Experience managing multiple platforms and responsible for delivering transformation projects in large organisations.
13. Experience leading and directing executive and non-executive work groups and effecting change through people.
14. Experience managing operational functions, directing process reengineering and efficiency exercises.
15. Strong ability to balance risks vs. rewards and maximizing the cost effectiveness and profitability for the business.
16. Strong people leadership, teamwork, gathering information and analysing, judgment and decision making, communication competencies.

Due to the nature of this position, we require you to be eligible to achieve SC as a minimum and in some cases DV clearance may be required. As a result, you should be a British Citizen and have resided in the UK for the last 5 years for SC and 10 years for DV.
