ROLE SUMMARY The UK Vaccines Business Manager leads the vaccines customer-facing team to develop and deliver customer engagement plans aligned with the UK vaccines strategy, aiming to meet and exceed revenue targets within operational costs. This role will ensure customer-facing excellence in the vaccines team, builds strategic partnerships with external stakeholders, and aligns customer-facing activity with brand strategies across private and public vaccine sectors. Additionally, this role gathers and shares environmental insights with cross-functional teams to shape national brand strategy. ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES Inspire an innovative and strategic growth-oriented team focus, where excellent commercial acumen and impactful customer engagement combine, to maximise Patient Breakthroughs and increase Pfizer revenue / ROI. Lead the team to implement & regularly evaluate aspirational business account plans, focused on delivering value in identified priority accounts across private and public vaccine programmes. Work with cross-functional partners in marketing and analytics to develop and embed a customer targeting strategy to deliver key vaccine brand priorities. Coach and support the team in excellent customer engagement – Enabling prioritised deployment of brand and therapy area promotional/non-promotional resources, across all channels, with targeted Clinical and ORDMs Personally lead the conversation externally with relevant senior customers & key accounts, modelling strategic commercial acumen and excellent customer engagement, to enhance patient breakthroughs Act as a strong internal ambassador with internal stakeholders, to provide compelling customer and environmental insight – Actively engaging the business towards the development of relevant National strategy and innovative customer propositions to drive Patient Breakthroughs Model and coach team around Pfizer imperatives/Values/Behaviours, to create a diverse & inclusive team culture that supports aspirational team development, in line with the evolution of the environment for our customers and their patients Attract, retain and develop talent within the team Effectively assess and manage performance, to ensure full implementation of role description, across all team roles Collaborate to develop strong cross-functional relationships with appropriate colleagues across Pfizer, to leverage shared goals, replicate best practice at pace Develop a deep understanding of all potential Vaccines Therapy Area customers and shape strategies for emerging customer groups in both private and NHS sectors. Vaccines experience Previous Sales Management experience. Impactful senior customer engagement capability Business planning skills – understanding of operational planning process Strong project management and organisational skills Strategic thinking and experience in leading negotiation and implementation excellence Digital Affinity with multichannel offerings and virtual engagement excellence Strong networking and Project management / lead experience Driving license The role and customer facing coaching activity will be a mix of face to face and remote working based on customer preference & business need. Occasional nights away from home will be required.
