Responsibilities
* Supporting students with challenging behaviour to achieve their educational goals
* Implementing behaviour management strategies as directed by the SENCO or teacher
* Assisting in the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
* Providing one-to-one or small group support to students in need
* Monitoring and recording student progress and behaviour throughout the day
Minimum Requirements
* GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
* Previous experience working with children or young adults with challenging behaviour
* Relevant qualification in education, psychology, or related field
* Experience in a similar role within an educational setting
* Understanding of behaviour management techniques
* Ability to build rapport and trust with students
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Strong organisational skills
* Teaching Assistant qualification
* Training in safeguarding and child protection
This role involves working within a school setting, supporting students with challenging behaviour. The candidate must be prepared to work full-time hours on a contract basis in Greater Manchester, Stretford.
