Our offerings range from artisanal cheese boards to delicate crudités, hearty brioche bun platters and sweet treats, all designed to impress. We pride ourselves on delivering fresh, hand-styled boards, which are carefully curated and hand-delivered across the M25. This is not your typical kitchen environment. We specialise in the presentation, style, and delivery of bespoke boards that make an impact, rather than traditional cooking.
Key Responsibilities:
* Leadership: Lead, manage, and inspire a small, dedicated kitchen team, ensuring high standards of quality and consistency across all platters.
* Kitchen Operations: Oversee the efficient running of the kitchen, ensuring timely production and delivery of hundreds of boards per week.
* Creative Styling: Supervise the preparation and styling of premium platters, ensuring they meet our aesthetic standards and delight our clients.
* Quality Control: Maintain a high level of quality in all items produced, focusing on freshness, presentation, and attention to detail.
* Inventory & Stock Control: Manage stock levels and ordering, ensuring the kitchen has everything needed to deliver consistently high-quality products.
* Health & Safety: Ensure that all kitchen operations comply with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
* Collaboration with Food Development: Work closely with the Food Development team to test, refine, and innovate new products and menu ideas, keeping our offerings fresh and aligned with client trends and demands.
What Were Looking For:
* Experience: You dont need to be a traditional chef, but we do require significant experience in kitchen management or catering leadership. This includes managing a team, maintaining high standards, and ensuring smooth operational flow.
* Creative Mindset: You should have an eye for detail and a passion for creating stunning, stylish platters. Presentation is key in our business, and youll need to bring an artistic touch to the boards you create.
* Organised & Efficient: You thrive in an early-start, fast-paced environment and can manage multiple orders with precision and care.
* Leadership: Youre a natural leader with experience in team management and the ability to motivate and train others.
* Non-Traditional Kitchen Experience: Were not looking for someone used to hot kitchens and long shifts. This role offers early mornings and early finishes, with a focus on the artistry of the product rather than the heat of traditional cooking.
* Passion for Quality: You care about the finer details, whether it's ensuring the perfect combination of cheeses or the flawless arrangement of each platter.
* Flexibility: Youre willing to work early mornings (5/6am) and weekends.
