This role would involve supporting the finance department, mainly focusing on managing ledgers, assisting with audits, and preparing financial reports.

Description
1. Performing financial functions related to the collection, accuracy, recording, analysis and presentation of the company's financial operations.
2. Preparing financial reports for management and stakeholders.
3. Assisting in the preparation of monthly or weekly financial reports.
4. Developing and maintaining financial databases and systems.
5. Assisting with audits, fact checks, and resolving discrepancies.
6. Providing support in budgeting and forecasting activities.
7. Collaborating with the financial department and other team members to successfully execute various accounting tasks.
8. Maintaining confidentiality of financial information.
Profile
A successful Group Assistant Accountant should have:
1. A strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
2. Proficiency with computers, especially bookkeeping software and MS Excel.
3. High level of accuracy and efficiency.
4. Excellent attention to detail.
5. Ability to work well in a team setting.
6. Ability to organise and prioritise tasks to meet deadlines.
7. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Job Offer
