A manufacturing and production client of ours in the Bury St Edmunds area are recruiting a Regional Sales Manager (covering Central/South East and South West) to join their team. This is a full-time permanent position working Monday - Friday 8.30am - 5.00pm and paying negotiable salary depending on experience.
Reporting to the Managing Director, key duties include but are not limited to:
Develop and deliver a comprehensive regional sales plan that targets profitable growth, project and customer leads, relationships and quotations.
Use sales tools to monitor performance and develop contingency plans to ensure targets are met.
Track and consistently communicate on a pipeline of projects enough to deliver the monthly, quarterly and annual targets.
Develop, agree and deliver a structured customer contact plan for the region.
Identification of new customers, making contact and initiating the sales process.
Develop, agree and deliver a structured specifier contact plan including a comprehensive CPD programme.
Direct delivery of CPD presentations and specification pipeline in line with agreed specifier contact planning.
Direct customer relationship management for customers.
Provide technical advice to customers and assist with the specification of products
Generate quotations and follow up with proactive, structured quotation tracking.
Support the business where required to deliver specific sales campaigns, new product launches and sales forecasting.
