Are you passionate about protecting the environment and looking for a role where you can make a real impact? Join Severn Trent’s River Health & Enhancement Team as a River Health Delivery Project Manager. In this critical and dynamic role, you will help shape and ensure successful delivery of our Spills Programme in order to meet our spills performance targets and environmental commitments.
As a River Health Delivery Project Manager, you will be at the heart of our mission to enhance river health.
You will bring to life insights from our spills performance, collaborating with operational teams and delivery workstreams to target activity, coordinate work packages, identify site solutions, and set delivery priorities. Your role will involve management of the end-to-end process, tracking progress, facilitating feedback, and removing obstacles to ensure smooth and efficient programme delivery.
Embedded within the workstreams and operational teams, you will foster strong collaborative relationships, driving seamless delivery and compliance with regulatory standards. You’ll also design and embed new processes, ensuring stakeholders conform to existing protocols and utilise tools effectively. Your role is the key link in the chain between the overall spills programme team and delivery workstreams and is pivotal in reducing spills and safeguarding our natural environment.
EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW
* Drive collaborative and efficient working across Analytics & Insights teams, delivery workstreams, and the wider Programme team.
* Ensure that identified solutions for targeted sites are correctly handed over to the relevant delivery workstream.
* Manage feedback loops to keep all stakeholders informed and ensure solutions are prioritized to maximize spills reduction.
* Track workstream progress against delivery milestones, ensuring data quality in the Solutions Tracker and adherence to governance standards.
* Identify, manage, and escalate risks, issues, and interdependencies, including resources and mitigation actions.
* Optimize delivery processes and remove blockers, ensuring adherence to solution closure and related processes.
* Communicate progress, risks, and challenges to stakeholders, maintaining transparency and accountability.
* Manage compliance risk sites, including SOAF Stage 1 processes, to ensure solutions are identified and implemented effectively.
* Act as the central point for new requests and focus areas related to spills, driving continuous improvement.
* Develop and maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders inside and outside Severn Trent Water, ensuring successful project delivery and handover.
* Collaborate with internal teams and third parties to meet key deliverables within set parameters of time, cost, quality, and health and safety expectations.
* Support Spills Programme contractor activities and work closely with our Programme Management Office to ensure accurate reporting.
* Develop your technical and project management capabilities, preparing project quality, control, and performance feedback against metrics like Solution Tracker Data Quality.
