The Senior Agile Delivery Manager will manage and deliver end to end user-centred digital and technology projects and programmes. The successful candidate will work as part of a citizen facing online service team and will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of design and technical improvements to our current product. You will lead a multi-disciplinary team to help deliver products and services, using agile values and practices.

The Child Maintenance Service aim is to improve children’s lives through the provision of effective child maintenance arrangements. In Children and Families Digital, we help run and maintain products and services that improve the outcomes for children, by enabling parents to put in place and manage sustainable child maintenance arrangements in an efficient and convenient way.
* Be at the heart of a dynamic team that supports children from birth to leaving education.
* Be able to motivate peers to deliver at pace and set a positive team environment. Be able to engage in helping to resolve complex problems and supporting the team to overcome delivery challenges.
* Appreciate the nuances of balancing the demands of a sometimes emotional and complicated user group within a challenging Operational landscape; and be able to make the right decision at the right time to satisfy those stakeholders.
* Be well versed in agile tools and techniques and know when to apply the right one. Be adept at spotting project risks and blockers and working with the team to remove, mitigate or action them.
* Be a creative and effective planner – to both internal and external teams – optimising speed to market, value and quality.
* Have direct experience of procurement, commercial and supplier management, leading procurement activity on behalf of Children and Families Digital to enable delivery of work. Track and report to senior project leads and/or governance boards.
* Will demonstrate ability to adjust quickly to changing priorities and conditions and to cope effectively with complexity and change.
