Arvato UK are seeking a highly self-motivated Warehouse Facilities Manager to oversee the efficient operation and maintenance of our Distribution Centre facilities.
Your will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of all infrastructure, equipment and services within the facility, whilst maintaining a safe and productive work environment.
The role will require commuting between our Kegworth and Kings Norton sites as and when required.
Your Tasks
1. Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of the warehouse facility, including equipment, MHE, electrics, lighting and storage and ensuring the roles are allocated to maintenance / contractor parties where necessary.
2. Manage a team of site maintenance staff ensuring tasks are delegated accordingly and timesheets/ hours submitted.
3. Coordinate with external contractors to service providers for repairs, maintenance and facility improvements.
4. Maintain accurate records of maintenance schedules, inspections and compliance reports.
5. Work closely with warehouse and operations teams to ensure facilities meet business needs.
6. To be involved in specific projects as required.
7. Liaise with security provider on site requirements.
Your Profile
An experienced Facilities Manager with a strong personality and a proactive approach to challenge the status quo, when necessary, always prioritising the safety and efficiency of operations. As well as someone who has:
1. Previous experience in Facilities Management
2. Strong customer-service skills
3. Excellent communication skills
4. Computer literate- experienced in working with Microsoft packages
5. Experience of dealing with all levels of staff and contractors
6. Methodical with attention to detail
7. Tenacious with a desire to see results
