About the role

We’re looking for a dedicated Housing Officer to join our team and help create safe, well-managed communities. In this role, you’ll be responsible for tenancy management, conducting regular estate inspections, carrying out tenancy audits, and ensuring accurate record-keeping. You’ll also take swift action to address any tenancy issues, making a real impact on the lives of residents.

Key responsibilities
Championing Community Well-being – Conduct regular estate inspections and tenancy audits, taking swift action to address any issues and improve our estates.
Empowering Residents – Manage tenancies with care and professionalism, ensuring policies and procedures are followed while always putting residents first.
Being a Trusted Problem-Solver – Act as the go-to person for residents’ concerns, investigating complaints, and providing expert advice and guidance.
Keeping Things on Track – Maintain accurate records and ensure our IT systems are regularly updated for seamless tenancy management.
Building Strong Partnerships – Work closely with internal teams, local authorities, and external partners to provide the best support for residents.
Representing A2Dominion with Pride – Attend court hearings, external meetings, case conferences, and forums, ensuring our residents receive fair and just outcomes.
Delivering Results – Meet key performance targets and tenancy management objectives that enhance the lives of those we serve.
Putting Residents First – Resolve customer queries quickly and effectively, liaising with operational teams, third-party providers, and community stakeholders.
Supporting Vulnerable Residents – Work with tenants who need extra assistance and connect them with the right support services to help them thrive.

More about you
For this role, we’re looking for someone with the following:
Educated to GCSE level or equivalent in Maths and English (Grades A*- C).
Full UK Driving License and access to own vehicle for work use.
Experience of problem solving for customers and understanding customer needs.
Previous experience in housing is desirable.
Intermediate level of IT Knowledge including Outlook, Word and Excel
