Day-to-Day Responsibilities: Please note these responsibilities are not limited to the specifics below
Bookkeeping
* Assisting with bookkeeping, HMRC, and payroll tasks using software (QuickBooks)
* Ensuring accurate bookkeeping and recording
* Liaising with the company’s accounting firm
* Generating invoices to ensure that the company has the correct income
* Chasing overdue payments to ensure sustainability
* Allocating petty cash
* Sending and responding to emails in a professional and timely manner
Administration
* Setting up payments with new referrals
* Managing Purchase Orders
* Managing and maintaining office and house supplies and inventory
* Any and all ad hoc administration requests
Recruitment
* Support on recruitment drives when needed (Onboarding, references, DBS, Induction and training)
Skills and Experience:
* Proficient experience of QuickBooks is essential
* Accurate and efficient data entry skills
* Experience managing purchase ledger; invoices, statements, and allocations
* Knowledge of office procedures and clerical tasks
* Familiarity with computerized systems for record keeping and data management
* Excellent telephone etiquette and communication skills
* Strong attention to detail
* High level of accuracy and problem-solving abilities
* Ability to meet deadlines
