Project Manager Responsibilities:
1. Manage established sites
2. Review H&S paperwork
3. Identify engineering discrepancies
4. Plan and oversee projects
5. Schedule project timelines
6. Perform method statements and risk assessments
7. Manage project administration and site documentation
8. Meet budgetary goals
9. Regularly report to senior management
10. Track project performance
11. Organise site resources (labour, materials, subcontractors)
12. Ensure suitability of plant & machinery
13. Oversee Supervisor and Foreman performance
14. Coach and support new hires
15. Organise employee training
16. Ensure trained personnel for tasks
17. Competent in closing out Health & Safety Files
Qualifications for Project Manager:
18. HND/HNC qualification in Civil Engineering or equivalent
19. Essential CSCS Gold Card
20. Essential SSSTS or SMSTS certification
21. Preferable NRSWA certification
22. Competency with MS Project
Project Manager Specification:
23. Professional, self-motivated attitude
24. Proficiency in contract documents and relationships
25. Ability to teach and develop team members
26. Strong Health and Safety leadership
27. Effective time management and organisation
28. Solid understanding of Engineering principles
29. Knowledge of relevant Health & Safety legislation
30. Full clean driving licence
