The Role
We are seeking an experienced and inspirational leader to take the school into its next phase of development. You will provide strategic leadership and direction for the school, ensuring that all activities within the school serve the vision, strategic direction and priorities outlined by the Trust and the Local Governance Committee.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
• Working in partnership with the Trust, Local Governance Committee, pupils, staff, parents and other stakeholders to instil the ethos and values which underpin all activities within the school
• To regularly monitor and evaluate the performance of the school and respond and report to the CEO and Local Governance Committee
• Organise, implement and monitor the curriculum and its assessment
• Monitor and evaluate the quality of teaching, and standards of learning and achievement of all pupils in the school
• Secure excellent attendance for all pupils, through rigorous implementation of the school’s attendance policy and effective use of intervention strategies
• Ensure high standards of pupil behaviour and courteous conduct in accordance with the school’s behaviour policy
• Ensure the effectiveness of safeguarding arrangements, through rigorous implementation of the school’s safeguarding policy and promotion of a robust safeguarding culture
