Role Purpose
Our client is an exciting start-up, within the Bridging Finance space. We are looking for an Administrator to join the team - you'll be responsible for handling inbound enquiries from potential borrowers, brokers, and other stakeholders. This role involves assessing the initial eligibility of applications, guiding applicants through the early stages of the process, and preparing preliminary terms and requirements. The individual in this position will be the first point of contact, delivering excellent customer service and ensuring that potential cases are appropriately qualified for bridging finance.
Role Duties
* Receive and manage inbound enquiries via phone, email and online - related to UK bridging finance.
* Provide clear, concise information regarding bridging finance products, lending criteria, and eligibility requirements.
* Maintain accurate records of each enquiry and collate accurate and thorough information on cases
* Provide a professional and thorough level of customer service to all customers, working with them where necessary to gather initial documentation and explaining the application process
* Collaborate with underwriters as required to draft indicative terms of lending based on the initial information provided, communicating these to applicants, ensuring they are clear on interest rates, fees, and any special conditions.
* Provide professional and timely responses to all enquiries and queries.
* Build rapport with potential borrowers, brokers, and partners to encourage long-term relationships.
Skills & Experience
* A customer-focused approach with strong empathy and listening skills.
* Familiarity with UK financial regulations, especially FCA guidelines, is preferred.
* Experience in a role where strong verbal and written communication skills were required
* Experience in prioritising enquiries and managing multiple cases simultaneously.
* A CeMAP qualification would be desirable for this role
