Job Title: Women and Girls League Administrator
Reports to: Women and Girls Development Manager
Responsible for: N/A
Contract: One year, fixed-term contract between April 2025 and April 2026
Hours: Part time, 10 hours per week – flexible across Monday to Friday
Salary: £6,349.20 per annum

Job Purpose
Somerset Cricket Foundation is seeking a dynamic and motivated Women and Girls League Administrator to help facilitate and support the growth of women and girls’ cricket leagues across Somerset. This role will involve managing and maintaining leagues, ensuring they are up-to-date on Play Cricket, providing additional opportunities, and supporting the Women and Girls Manager and Officer. The Administrator will also be responsible for organising and overseeing indoor festivals and leagues, helping to drive increased participation in the sport.

Main Responsibilities:
League Facilitation
* Manage and coordinate women and girls’ cricket leagues, ensuring their smooth operation and growth.
Play Cricket Updates
* Ensure league data is consistently and accurately updated on Play Cricket, helping to maintain current and relevant records.
Support League Opportunities
* Assist the Women and Girls Manager and Officer with identifying and expanding new league opportunities for women and girls across Somerset.
Indoor Festivals & Leagues
* Take charge of organizing indoor festivals and leagues, working with relevant stakeholders to ensure successful events.
Communication & Engagement
* Maintain clear communication with league participants, coaches, and stakeholders, addressing any queries and providing timely updates.
Promotion & Outreach
* Promote opportunities for women and girls in cricket across the region to increase participation and visibility.

Knowledge, skills, and experience required:
Essential
* A strong understanding and knowledge of Play Cricket and its use in league management.
* Strong communication skills, including an ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, including players, coaches, and administrators.
* Strong organisational and planning skills, including an ability to multitask, manage deadlines, and oversee multiple league events simultaneously.
* Experience of working as part of a team and independently.
* Good IT skills including advanced ability with Word, Excel, Outlook, and other Microsoft programmes.
Personal attributes
* Approachable and personable – a friendly and approachable manner when interacting with league participants, staff, and the wider community.
* Hard working with a can-do attitude.
* Ability to develop and maintain working relationship with club volunteers.
