Description
Are you passionate about creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment? As a Careers and Employability Projects Coordinator, you will lead and develop key extracurricular initiatives, such as MentorMe and Bath Spa Empowers, to ensure all students have equitable access to career development opportunities.
Working collaboratively across the university and with external partners, you will drive impactful projects, support mentoring schemes, and create inclusive career resources that enhance student employability.
About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Careers and Employability Projects Coordinator to design, develop, and lead extracurricular projects that enhance student career development. You will manage key initiatives such as MentorMe and Bath Spa Empowers, ensuring equitable access to opportunities for all students.
Your role will also involve data-driven evaluation, stakeholder engagement, and leadership in embedding diversity and inclusion within our career services. If you have a passion for student success and project management, we'd love to hear from you!
About You
The successful candidate will have project management experience in an education setting. With excellent interpersonal skills, you will be able to work across teams to manage multiple initiatives, prioritise tasks, and drive projects forward effectively.
You will have prior experience designing and delivering training sessions and learning resources, and experience creating and maintaining professional networks.
Ideally, you will have managed mentoring schemes, experience in ED&I, and experience in Higher Education.
Additional Information
Salary – Grade 6 (£33,482 - £37,174)
This is a full time, fixed term 15 month contract, covering maternity leave. Location - Bath based campuses with occasional visits to BSU London. Interview Date - 2nd April 2025.
