Empress Talent is hiring for a Sales Engineer to join a successful manufacturing client.
This is a remote role for someone based in the North of the UK, ideally in Leeds, Sheffield, Manchester, Liverpool and surrounding areas to fully service their northern territory up to and including Scotland. This is a field based role with regular travel to visit customers but is otherwise fully remote.
This role will be reporting to the Sales Manager of the organisation.
Role and Responsibilities
1. upporting distributors and customers in the north of the UK
2. Grow existing customer base and develop new business in the North region
3. Answering technical queries via phone and email
4. Visits to customers to help recommend, specify and introduce adhesives into a production line
5. Complaint support, investigation and troubleshooting
6. Technical training and new product training for distributors
7. Support with manning exhibitions when required
8. Track sales leads, samples and projects, ensure regular feedback from customers / distributors.
9. Keep company CRM database updated with visit reports, projects, opportunities etc.
10. Support new product launches and promotional activities
11. Negotiate and provide pricing and quotations for customers
12. Provide account sales support
13. Liaise with customer services and credit control to help service accounts
14. Maintain and develop relationships with integrators who manufacture equipment such as dispensers, UV lamps, surface preparation equipment.
Qualifications and Education Requirements :
A-level in two science subjects and mathematics. Good working knowledge of MS Office suite. Full driving license.

Organized ability to follow projects through to completion. Ability to manage a territory as if it’s your own business. Be hungry, dynamic and driven. Technically minded with the ability to understand the adhesives market
