Our client, a global sportswear brand, is looking for a highly strategic and creative Senior Social Media Manager to lead brands social media presence across UK and Europe. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, this role is responsible for shaping and executing the brands social media strategy across all platforms, enhancing brand visibility, community engagement, and storytelling across performance and lifestyle categories. This role requires deep platform knowledge, strong creative sensibilities, and the ability to manage cross-functional collaboration with internal teams, regions, and agency partners. Key Responsibilities Social Media Strategy & Execution Define and implement a comprehensive social media strategy for Europe, supporting both regional and global brand initiatives. Plan and execute campaigns and social activations to drive brand engagement, awareness, and growth. Lead strategy across platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Pinterest, Snapchat, Spotify, and region-specific platforms such as Kakao and Line. Content & Creative Direction Collaborate with internal Creative teams to ensure a distinct and consistent aesthetic identity across channels. Brief and develop platform-specific, engaging content aligned with key campaigns and brand storytelling. Guide content calendars, social narratives, and visual storytelling to align with seasonal marketing priorities. Community Management & Influencer Engagement Oversee community building and engagement, ensuring a two-way dialogue with followers and fans. Partner with Influencer Marketing and PR teams to drive amplification of brand messages through creators, ambassadors, and partners. Monitor trends and tap into cultural moments to keep the brand relevant and reactive. Performance Tracking & Optimization Monitor, analyse, and report on social media KPIs, adjusting strategies based on insights and performance. Work with media and digital teams to optimize paid social campaigns for reach, engagement, and conversion. Global & Regional Coordination Act as the central lead for social ensuring global alignment and local relevance. Guide and support regional and agency partners to execute social media strategies in line with global direction. Serve as brand guardian to ensure consistent voice, tone, and visual identity across all social activities. Skills & Experience 5 years in social media strategy and execution, ideally within fashion, lifestyle, or consumer brands. Deep knowledge of global social platforms and content best practices. Strong experience managing agencies, content creators, and cross-regional teams. Exceptional copywriting, storytelling, and visual communication skills. Experience with paid media, influencer partnerships, and digital-native collaborations. Highly analytical with ability to translate data into strategic actions. Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus. Passionate about culture, trends, and digital innovation.
