The Department for Child Protection is currently seeking Business Support Officers to join the Out of Home Care team’s employment pool.
The roles are responsible for:
* Maintaining staff records, preparing reports, minutes, and employment contract letters, and providing advice on a range of personnel procedures and related issues.
* Assisting with budget and cash flow projections, budget preparation, salary estimates, cash flow, and monthly expenditure reports.
* Arranging servicing and appropriate maintenance of fleet vehicles in line with agency policies.
* Maintaining office equipment, stationery, and office systems.
About You
We are looking for organised individuals who can demonstrate attention to detail, organise priorities, and meet deadlines.
You will have experience working with a range of Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
With a demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, you will work collaboratively with a range of relevant stakeholders delivering quality services.
If you can manage a high and varied workload, organise priorities, and take initiative, then this may be the role for you.
Special Conditions
About the Pool
Should you be successful, you will be advised (in writing) that you have been recommended to be included in this pool. The pool will remain active for 12 months and during this time you may be contacted for an offer of employment. You are not required to accept any offers made to you and DCP is not obliged to offer you any opportunities.
