Our fantastic client, an elderly and dementia nursing home based in Leamington Spa, is currently hiring for a registered care home manager.
Overall Objectives:
1. Ensure the effective, efficient, and safe running of the Home through efficient management of resources.
2. Achieve the Home's aims and objectives within CQC requirements.
3. Ensure staff compliance with management procedures and quality standards, and initiate corrective action as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
1. General Management and Administration:
2. Ensure staffing levels comply with CQC requirements.
3. Provide leadership, guidance, and support to all staff.
4. Notify the Director of any issues requiring their attention.
5. Maintain up-to-date records and information for staff and residents.
6. Implement and monitor standards, and ensure value for money in purchases.
7. Manage the Home's resources efficiently and economically.
8. Communicate professionally and respond to residents and families as a priority.
9. Act up or represent the Director as required.
10. Provide monthly monitoring information and other reports as agreed.
11. Work as the nurse in charge once a week and provide cover for the RGNs if needed.
Requirements:
1. Experienced Care Home Manager - 2 years minimum.
2. Experienced Deputy Manager with a RGN/RMN Nurse pin with most experience in the private sector.
3. Vast experience as an RGN/RMN Nurse.
4. Proven track record of nursing home management.
5. Minimum career jumps (or reasons why).
6. Proficiency in managing budgets, resources, and operations of a care home.
7. Registered with CQC.
8. Commitment to ongoing training and development to stay up-to-date with changes in the sector.
