Role We are recruiting for a new Director, Operational Resilience and Third Party Risk to join our risk management journey at LSEG. The role is responsible for the second line oversight across both Operational Resilience and Third Party risks, helping drive further embedding across the Group as well as delivering continuous improvements to the framework. Embracing the firm’s core values, role is well-positioned to facilitate building of collaborative partnerships across the organization and will work to break down any silos or barriers to communication. The team is intended to be instrumental in reinforcing the risk culture, which underpins the way LSEG manages risk. Key Responsibilities The role has responsibility for defining and supporting the development of the Operational Resilience and Third Party Risk Management Frameworks, and helping embed risk management within the Group. The role will need to work collaboratively with divisional Chief Risk Officers, Business Control Officers, and the Risk Operations team. The Role also supports, where required, specific projects with risk management expertise. Specific responsibilities include: Define a roadmap to embed and improve our second line oversight of Operational Resilience and Third Party Risk Management Ownership of related policies Review and challenge of our operational resilience and third party risk posture, KRIs, risk events, and issues Drive embedding of the Risk Management Framework as part of the wider Risk Culture work Key Skills The role requires experience working in risk framework/management roles, with experience of multiple risk types considered an advantage. Additionally, communication skills with both a proven ability to influence, balance feedback, and write clear, compelling reports for senior management.
