Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and organised Marketing Project Manager to join our team on a fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave. This exciting opportunity involves working as part of the Office Friendly team on a dedicated project, supporting a client within our community. This position involves balancing strategic marketing planning with hands-on project management. The ideal candidate will have strong organisational and administrative skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
* Organise and attend monthly on-site Marketing Strategy meetings at the client’s office.
* Create and implement comprehensive marketing plans focused on agreed priority areas, including blog posts, e-shots, social media content, creative assets, and competitions.
* Collaborate with both the Office Friendly team and the client to execute marketing strategies effectively.
* Ensure all campaigns are delivered on schedule and align with agreed timelines.
* Monitor and report on campaign performance, using data insights to inform future content and strategies.
* Act as the primary point of contact for all internal ad hoc marketing requests from the client.
* Liaise with client directors on marketing strategy, incorporating their feedback and securing sign-off on key campaigns.
* Oversee the workload of the client’s lead designer, ensuring projects are clearly briefed and completed on time.
* Collaborate with the client’s lead designer to create and update brochures, develop marketing materials for new acquisitions, produce product flyers based on sales team requests, and update websites and other materials as needed.
* Manage in-house marketing stock levels (brochures, corporate merchandise, business cards), coordinating with the print team to reorder supplies as needed.
* Administer the client’s LinkedIn account, creating posts to highlight company news and internal campaigns.
* Write engaging blog content for the client’s news page, covering business updates.
* Prepare and revise presentations for the Chief Commercial Officer and key sales representatives.
* Organise the client’s biannual National Sales Conference, including supplier exhibitions, ensuring the event remains self-funding.
* Contribute to the content development of the client’s website.
Individual Qualities and Skills:
* Experience: Proven experience in marketing project management, working with cross-functional teams, and utilising project management tools (e.g. Asana).
* Project Management Skills: Strong ability to manage projects from start to finish, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closing. Skilled in time management, prioritisation, budget management, and meeting deadlines.
* Leadership & Resilience: Strong leadership, decision-making, and assertiveness, with the ability to influence stakeholders and engage with senior management confidently.
* Collaboration & Communication: Effective communication and collaboration with stakeholders at all levels, ensuring clarity and alignment on project goals and requirements.
* Attention to Detail: Ensure high standards and accuracy in all marketing materials and outputs, aligned with project objectives and branding.
* Analytical Skills: Ability to evaluate marketing data and metrics to inform decisions and optimise projects.
* Organisational Skills: Highly organised, able to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a proactive and adaptable approach.
* Team Player: Ability to work well under pressure, manage cross-departmental relationships, and consolidate feedback to drive project success.
