The Position
Elevate The Digital Workplace Experience

In the role of IT Workplace Services Professional, you will be instrumental in revolutionizing the digital workplace, focusing on creating a seamless, efficient, and satisfying experience for all employees. This position stands at the heart of our IT operations, offering a dynamic pathway into various careers within Informatics and beyond.
Your key responsibilities:
1. You will act as a digital enabler for our business colleagues & functions.
2. You act as the owner of the digital employee experience for the respective site.
3. You drive employee productivity through consultancy, provide intimacy and site proximity at the sites, and ensure a personalized Roche employee experience.
4. You leverage available data (e.g.: Nexthink, SNOW) for proactive support.
5. You support and manage the Incident/ Request management processes to ensure SLA's are met and drive continuous improvement through trend analysis.
6. You manage IT hardware lifecycle management & deskside support processes/managed services for the site.
7. You provide support & guidance for onsite services (e.g. events and meetings) by leveraging from internal and external providers. Drive the user experience and promote best practice.
8. You drive and enable standard workplace infrastructure, global/local projects and deployments in collaboration with product teams.
9. You proactively address and follow through on process-improvement ideas.
10. You support & drive budgeting process related to the respective site.
11. You support local audit, inspection and certification requirements.
12. You support local Business Continuity and IT Disaster Recovery planning activities.
13. You partner with our external service providers.
Your qualifications and experience:
1. Exhibits a Lean-Agile Mindset.
2. Manages risks progressively and in a way that leads to opportunity.
3. Enterprise mindset that can break down silos. Focus on delivery through collaboration, and bringing people together to work towards the same purpose across organizational boundaries.
4. Exhibits intellectual curiosity and integrity and has a strong passion for innovation.
5. Understanding of Roche-supported operating systems, devices and applications, including the Google Suite of Applications, MS Office, Infrastructure and Networking principles etc.
6. Experience with ticketing systems and troubleshooting hardware, software and mobile devices.
7. Experience of upskilling the workforce on our enterprise solutions through education and communication plans.
8. Excellent working knowledge of the ITIL v3 processes in an IT service delivery.
9. Solid written and oral communication skills in English.
