* Develop and implement an effective sales strategy for the department.
* Lead, coach and mentor the sales team to exceed targets.
* Build strong relationships with key clients.
* Oversee and land new contracts through bid management.
* Track and report on sales performance metrics.
* Collaborate with other departments to ensure client satisfaction.
* Identify opportunities for growth within the sector.
* Head up sales, reporting into the Board.
The Successful Applicant
A successful 'Head of Sales - Contract Catering' should have:
* A strong background in sales within the Business Services sector, preferably a link to Food or Contract Catering services.
* Leadership experience; sales training, development planning, best practice, encouraging a successful culture.
* Passion for scaling up a team and making sales pivotal in business growth.
* Defining and executing a channel/client strategic business plan.
* Excellent relationship and negotiation skills with multi-function touch points. Bid delivery.
* Internal & external influence from top down.
* Proficiency in using sales tracking and reporting.
Location Requirement: You must be able to access Oxfordshire daily.
