We are looking for..
We are seeking Activity Workers to provide direct support and care to children affected by disabilities. You will work alongside colleagues to provide 1:1 or 2:1 support to young people aged 5 – 18 years old during the Easter and Summer Schools Holidays. Hours are flexible and there may be opportunity for some weekend work throughout the year.
Young people are supported to engage in activities they enjoy in a variety of settings, accessing community facilities or within our holiday activity scheme bases.
We are seeking individuals who are passionate about supporting young people who have a disability to realise their full potential. You will be required to work on a flexible basis and have maturity, enthusiasm, skill and preferably some relevant experience. The ability to be mobile across the Council area is preferred.
You will work on an as and when required basis.
If you are the successful candidate, you will be required to gain/maintain PVG scheme membership.
