We have an exciting opportunity to join the Chief People and Places Executive Office and drive our communications and engagement agenda. You will manage our internal communications and engagement plan, working closely with People & Places teams to celebrate our people and ensure they feel connected and informed through regular events and calls. Job Description What You’ll Be Doing Comms for the Chief People and Places Officer (CPPO) Shape stories for the CPPO internally and externally with briefings, social media strategies, and in-person comms counsel. Deliver all strategic comms from the CPPO to the People and Places function. Comms and Engagement for the People & Places (P&P) Function Develop and execute the comms and engagement strategy for P&P Design and deliver virtual and in-person events. Oversee the P&P Extended Leadership team event production, including Half-Year Hub and End-of-Year Product Launch. Active Voice Help the P&P executive team become the face of our transformation story across all channels. Own the conference participation strategy for the function. Other Key Responsibilities Drive the internal communications content plan and events calendar, ensuring strategic alignment and content delivery. Produce and edit videos to highlight great people stories and successes. Promote P&P as an inclusive and diverse place to work through regular communications. Support the CPPO with her social profile, including LinkedIn and Viva Engage content. Monitor comments and mentions on key P&P Viva Engage pages and respond accordingly. Collaborate with Group Corporate Affairs and colleague networks to ensure strategic alignment and best practice sharing. Champion the ‘We Can’ communications approach, reducing noise and engaging our people in a human, empathetic way. The Give – What You Can Bring to the Role Energy and innovation to take this role to the next level; you enjoy hosting large, online and in-person community calls. You’re not only great at drafting executive communications but also a people person who can rally a crowd and get them excited about the company and functional strategy. Experience in a similar role with a positive can-do attitude and ability to form great relationships at all levels. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and experience in writing engaging digital content. Ability to plan and prioritise workload while effectively managing stakeholders’ expectations and challenging ways of working. Video editing experience and working knowledge of SharePoint and Yammer are a plus, but willingness to learn is essential.
