A leading membership body devoted to disseminating research and best practice in surgery is hiring for a newly-created role of Marketing Coordinator Based in Windsor, our client is a leading provider of first class education, learning resources, journals and other publications that champion pioneering research in the surgical field globally. This role offers a salary of £30,000 - £32,000, and hybrid working with a minimum of 2 days per week in the Windsor office. This role will support the planning and delivery of the client's marketing activities, with a strong focus on managing social media. This will involve managing the various social platforms, scheduling and creating posts in line with a content plan and engaging as needed. There are a large number of educational courses and conferences throughout the year, so a lot of the marketing will be around the promotion of these, along with their journals and membership marketing. The successful candidate will have a strong background in social media marketing, ideally around events. Experience working for a trade association or membership body would be advantageous, along with having a scientific background but this is not essential. Our client is looking for a strong communicator and problem solver who is able to prioritise.
