Location: Hybrid (Head Office: Quorum Business Park, Newcastle upon Tyne)
This is a hybrid working role, so you’ll need to be able to work from our Head Office one day per week, this may increase during busy periods.
About the role
We’re excited to be looking for a Bid and Partnerships Coordinator to join our bid team to help drive NCFE’s growth and diversification.
The bid team plays an important role in securing new contracts and partnerships for NCFE. We have a diverse pipeline of bid opportunities, funding proposals and partnership projects which require daily review, updates and rationalisation. You’ll support the bid team to make bid/no bid proposals to senior leaders, create and submit bids and proposals, and manage our growing pipeline of opportunities.
In this role you’ll have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of colleagues across all seniority levels, supporting them to understand each opportunity and achieve the right bidding outcome. You’ll gain exposure to bid management best practice, develop your understanding of commercial decision-making processes, and work directly on strategically important bids.
You’ll also have the opportunity to help grow our wider partnerships approach, working with the Partnerships and 3rd Party Relationships team.
How you’ll make an impact:
* Performing daily horizon scanning for bid, funding and proposal opportunities.
* Making initial bid/no bid recommendations.
* Managing correspondence with potential buyers and funders.
* Administering the pipeline of projects and reporting on daily progress.
* Coordinating colleagues and supporting them to compile high quality bid content.
We’d love to hear from you if you offer the following:
* Excellent communication skills and good writing skills.
* Experience proofreading and reviewing documents.
* Ability to digest and summarise key information from large documents.
* Competency with Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
* Experience working to deadlines and prioritising multiple projects in a portfolio.
