The IFC Controllers Department (CNT) is responsible for effectively and efficiently managing IFC's Financial Operations. The Treasury Support Operations Division (CNTTR) within the IFC Controllers Department provides back-office and accounting services for all IFC Treasury activities. The CNTTR team is in Washington, DC and Chennai (India) and delivers its work program on a cross-support basis.
The IFC Treasury Support Operations unit in Washington DC (CNTTR) is seeking an Extended Term Consultant (ETC) to supplement team leads (TTLs) in various activities for the treasury system replacement project (TANGO). The position requires extensive knowledge of IFC treasury products, operations, and financial systems, with experience in project management and problem-solving complex issues in treasury system implementations or upgrades.
Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Assist team leads in managing project timelines, deliverables, and milestones to ensure a smooth transition from the existing treasury platform (Summit) to Murex.
2. Provide expert technical guidance and solutions for complex issues encountered during the transition.
3. Support the integration of Murex with existing systems and platforms.
4. Facilitate discussions to address critical integration points and system architecture considerations.
5. Analyze and recommend solutions to complex issues that arise during the transition.
6. Work closely with business analysts, IT teams, and end-users to ensure alignment between technical solutions and business requirements.
7. Identify and recommend performance optimization strategies for Murex.
8. Provide expertise in custom development and configuration within Murex.
9. Develop and execute comprehensive testing strategies.
10. Create and maintain detailed technical documentation.
11. Provide training and knowledge transfer to internal teams.
Selection Criteria:
1. A master's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 8 years of experience as a technical consultant/lead in financial services.
3. Strong project management skills, with experience in supporting large-scale system transitions.
4. Strong understanding of IFC treasury products, processes, and financial instruments.
5. In-depth knowledge of treasury system configuration, customization, and integration.
6. Proficiency in creating technical documentation and conducting training sessions.
7. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
8. Self-starting, highly disciplined, and team-oriented individual.
9. Competent in office technology tools, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
10. Fluency in written and spoken English required.
11. Prior knowledge of the institution's existing systems, processes, and organizational structure.
