Shifts: 4 on 4 off shifts
Salary: Circa £43,500 per annum + 10% Annual Bonus + Overtime Opportunities + Extended Holiday + 7% Pension Contribution Scheme + Enhanced Benefits Package
The Company:
My client is a national energy recovery company, with over 300 sites across the country. This ethical, sector leading firm is seeking a mechanical maintenance engineer with experience within the chemical, construction, steel, renewable energy or recycling industry or similar manufacturing environment work experience to join their team on a full time, permanent basis.
They invest a lot in their employees, reward hard work and put your well being first. In return they will expect you to uphold the same high standards and commitment to ensure plant reliability.
This is a great opportunity to join a business which can offer growth and security from day one. On top of this the structure of this leading waste company provides great options for those looking to plan for the long-term and get exposure within a large trend setter for renewable energy and recycling.
The Candidate:
The ideal candidate would be a competent mechanical engineer comfortable working in a heavy duty, industrial environment such as a construction, waste/recycling site, papermill, shipyard or manufacturing environment. If you enjoy a well organised and steady paced work environment, but also enjoy a challenge, this could be the position for you.
Working as part of the maintenance team, you will be expected to undertake and prioritise planned and reactive work and take responsibility for your own projects on site. You will be attending breakdowns, fault finding and assisting with site planned maintenance on a variety of equipment including conveyors, hydraulics, pumps, rollers, gearboxes, valves, etc.
You must have experience within an industrial environment and be able to attend breakdowns quickly and efficiently, while upholding health and safety. It is also important you have experience with planned shut downs.
Requirements:
* Previous experience working as a mechanical engineer as part of a maintenance team on an industrial site.
* Knowledge of CMMS and uphold H&S/Compliance.
* Enthusiastic, approachable and a can-do attitude to work.
* Full UK driving licence.
* Competent fault finding and repairing on a range of equipment.
* Must hold a recognised Level 3 Engineering Qualification.
* Yearly Bonus (up to 10% of your basic salary).
* Quick progression and opportunity to take on a supervisory role.
* Overtime options (time and half).
* Contributory pensions scheme (up to 7%).
* Friendly, sociable work environment.
* Profit Share Scheme.
* Competent and organised team.
* Discounts on retail store products and holidays.
* Physical safety and mental health support.
