Job Description
As the Language Manager - Italian, you will be responsible for strategically shaping communications for your market through translating, trans-creating and creating engaging, on-brand product and marketing content. You will ensure that our copy is customer-centric, effective and tailored across all channels in your market, while maintaining the COS tone of voice.
What you will do:
1. Elevate the online and instore experience through copy that inspires and connects in your market
2. Build brand recognition in your market through the COS tone of voice
3. Contribute to the content localisation strategy in your market
4. Maintain the quality and accuracy of copy across all touchpoints for your market
5. Enhance the customer journey and experience, ensuring clear language across our product pages
6. Increase conversion and reduce return rates through accurate copy
7. Work in our translations tool to build up translation memory to improve workflow and optimise processes
8. Set up improvement initiatives for translation workflows
9. Translate, trans-create and edit engaging, on-brand copy including product descriptions, email newsletters, store windows, editorial and promotions, ensuring all copy is clear and localised where relevant
10. Lead communications for your market by creating overarching messaging and copy in collaboration with the copy team
11. Create and maintain market-specific style guides to ensure consistency across communications
12. Liaise with other teams in the business to ensure smooth production of translation materials
13. Own the in-house translations process
14. Lead improvement initiatives, for internal and external tools and processes
15. QA and maintain quality of copy on the product and department landing pages with regular quality checks

What you need to succeed
16. Fluent Italian and English language skills
17. A thorough understanding of the various stylistic nuances of Italian and ability to adapt to tone of voice guidelines
18. Experience within a copy or content role, ideally with a focus on translation
19. Ability to work on tasks independently or as part of a team
20. Excellent attention to detail
Additional Information
This is a full-time temporary 6-month contract based at our Regional Office in London, with the option for hybrid working.
