SCI was born out of passion for video games and boxing, with the ambition to create an authentic and exciting boxing game that does justice to the sport we love. What started as a fun prototype has grown into ‘Undisputed’, the first major boxing video game in over a decade.

The Role
**Please note that for all of our roles we have a preference for candidates who can be onsite full time. However, for outstanding candidates hybrid or remote working within the UK may be an option.**
The Outsource Manager is responsible for managing and delivering all assets that are produced via a third-party developer across the UNDISPUTED Franchise. This work encompasses several areas of production that support the game’s creative and technical vision at all stages of development from pre-dev to live-ops.
Manages the timely delivery and quality of assets that support the needs of the franchise using the centralised Art team as well as external vendors using proven workflows.
Ensures all outsource work is of industry leading quality and drives value to maximise costs and efficiencies.
Ensures all outsource work is planned effectively, clearly communicated and includes strategic planning for efficiencies and cross discipline dependencies.
Alongside the Head of Art, the Outsource Manager will help drive communication with regular progress reports and updates across the project and studio. They will present with confidence, gravitas and persuasion within the team and wider organisation.
Alongside the Head of Art, they can also effectively articulate the art vision goals and visual expectations for the project in a way that is clearly understandable to different audiences.
Responsibilities
* They are responsible for onboarding any external vendors with clear due diligence and contractual agreements.
* They are responsible for the timely delivery for all Outsourced Assets that meet the expected quality of the project.
* They engage with project leads and craft leads to help advise, support and define all outsource requirements and manages expectations on delivery.
* Works closely with marketing to support their content delivery.
* Working with Artists to ensure that all outsource specifications are in place and there is a clear review process formatted.
* Can project manage the delivery of content through clear scheduling and tracking processes.
* Assess and communicate issues and risk within reasonable timescales.
* Have a keen eye for quality, so can identify areas that could be improved, ensuring the game is meeting the highest standards.
* Helps to mentoring and coach colleagues.
Experience
* At least 5 years in the games industry as an Outsource Manager.
* Shipped at least one game, where you were heavily involved in managing the content delivery.
* Is from an Art background so has artistic fundamentals when it comes to delivering quality assets.
* Has extensive experience of using Jira and other project tracking software.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Be able to work independently and as part of a wider team.
* Based in the UK.
