Sales Specialist - Immunohistochemistry in New Haven, Connecticut

The Sales Specialist – Immunohistochemistry for Leica Biosystems is responsible for developing and executing successful sales strategies for rapid revenue growth and market share expansion in territory. They will work collaboratively with Sales, Service, and Applications counterparts to achieve Leica Biosystems performance targets while exceeding customer expectations.
This position is part of the Sales team and will be fully remote in the Connecticut territory.
You will report to the Sales Manager - Immunohistochemistry and be responsible for leading a team of sales representatives to exceed sales goals and deliver on commercial strategies.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
1. Achieve annual product sales goals set for the territory while coordinating with the local assigned team.
2. Maintain accurate and timely opportunity funnel and customer data in SFDC.
3. Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through delivery of sales and support assistance.
4. Coordinate product demos, installs, and customer training with support from manager and/or mentor.
5. Work with prospective and current customers to increase Leica Biosystems' influence across territories.
6. Monitor competitive activities and strategies, utilizing Strategic Selling tools with guidance.
7. Develop on products and tools such as DOMO, Showpad, and Territory Business Reviews.
The essential requirements of the job include:
1. Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science OR equivalent work experience.
2. Minimum 3+ years relevant sales experience.
3. Proven time management and contract negotiation skills.
4. Experience with Salesforce.com or other CRM software; Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
5. Ability to travel 50-75%, including some overnights within territory.
6. Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay. The salary range for this role is $100,000 - $130,000. This range may be modified in the future.
