Position: Machine Operator

Hours: 40
Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday, 06:00 - 14:30
Pay range: €14.00
Breaks: x1 30 minutes PAID, x1 30 minutes unpaid.
Responsibilities:
* Report any issues which may present a health and safety risk.
* Ensure that all team members follow health & safety procedures and lead by example.
* Accountable for delivery of requirements set out in this document.
* Plan for next day’s products (people, temperas, line setup, packing specs, and other relevant requirements).
* Maintain work area audit readiness at all times.
* Ensure compliance with Quality Assurance system and procedures.
* Ensure compliance with hygiene and housekeeping standards.
* Deliver daily production targets in accordance with production plan.
* Deliver Key Performance Indicators to target.
* Analyze previous day's performance, rejects, and downtime.
* Organize and lead people on a daily basis.
* Address non-compliances and raise issues with your manager as necessary.
* Complete all paperwork as required and return for filing at end of each shift.
* Organize the people on the line and show leadership.
* Train or coordinate the training for people.
* Communicate effectively with supervisors, managers, and other personnel in the chocolate room.
Qualifications:
* Good mechanical aptitude.
* Ability to work on own initiative.
* Ability to work effectively with others.
* Proactive and organized.
* Competent with numbers and basic calculations.
* Machinery experience (essential).
