This is an exciting opportunity within Outpatient Services, Ambulatory Care Division based at the NHS Treatment Centre for Gateway E - Outpatients: Rheumatology, Endocrinology, Hypertension and Diabetes. The Receptionists core working hours are Monday to Friday between 8am-6pm, with the occasional evening clinics requiring you to finish later. You will have excellent customer service skills and be committed to providing a first class service.
You must be educated to GCSE standard, possess excellent communication skills and be competent in the use of computers systems including Microsoft packages and Medway PAS ., Working as part of the Outpatient team you will be responsible for greeting patients at reception, checking and updating personal detailswhile maintaining patient confidentiality. Using Medway PAS and other relevant booking systems you will arrange follow-up appointments and update details accurately and efficiently. You'll have excellent communication skills and will deal appropriately with enquires both by telephone and in person.
