So, if you are as passionate about the ocean as we are, if you embody our values to be Brave, Honest and Driven, if you want to be part of a truly authentic, purpose-led brand and you share our vision to create exceptional products in a responsible way, then we would love to hear from you ABOUT THE ROLE We have an exciting new opportunity for a Junior Social Medial Executive to join the Finisterre team on a 6-month fixed-term basis You will support with the day-to-day management of the Finisterre social media channels across Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, Pinterest, and TikTok, by creating engaging content and following briefs set out by the Social Media Manager. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Assisting with Community Management on Organic Social Assist with the day-to-day management of the social media channels – replying to comments, resharing appropriate UGC, posting daily content and making sure all content goes out as signed off in a timely manner – this may involve posting outside of working hours when necessary. Being fully immersed in the brand, taking initiative to understand all products, projects and community names to make sure all storytelling on our organic social channels is well informed and accurate. Able to answer questions on products and community activity on Organic Social when necessary, in a timely and accurate manner. Content Creation for Organic Socials Creating content for all channels as needed, including but not limited to Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, Pinterest and TikTok—making sure that all content meets both brand and business objectives Receiving briefs from the Social Media Manager and seeing them through to completion, making sure that all content is created in adequate time and to deadlines and is signed off by wider team if necessary. When required, joining on photoshoots to capture content that is needed across the campaigns Working on any reactive briefs that come in from community channels in UK and North America Contributing ideas for campaign content through social listening and reporting these to the social media manager Collaborating with colleagues across the business on campaign delivery as needed i.e. working with the Product & Brand Marketing Manager to ensure product within content is being used in the correct setting and for its correct use. Assisting with Planning and Execution of Social Media Campaigns Keeping social media planner up to date at least one week in advance Delivering content and posting it, on time and on budget. Assisting with Reporting on Social Media Campaigns Assisting with data analysis and internal reporting requirements (both monthly and quarterly) with support from the Social Media Manager Meeting regularly with the Social Media Manager to understand learnings from content, and making sure those learnings are inputted into future campaigns for optimum performance Reporting and evaluating content weekly with the Social Media Manager – making any suggestions for better performance to support business objectives Being an in-house champion for Finisterre’s socials and encouraging team and ambassadors to share on their socials in a way that drives Finisterre’s business goals Requirements WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO FINISTERRE Content creation skills: Demonstratable experience of Creating Content for Social Media Channels and examples of driving engagement and building community through Organic Social Social Media Saviness: A thorough understanding of Organic Social Platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, Youtube Shorts and LinkedIn Creativity: Ability to come up with engaging and innovative ideas for posts, stories, and campaigns. Writing Skills: Strong command of language to craft compelling captions, hashtags, and content that resonates with the audience. Visual Design Sense: Basic understanding of aesthetics, color theory, and composition for creating visually appealing content. Analytical Mindset: Basic knowledge of interpreting social media metrics and insights to optimize content performance. Organizational Skills: Ability to schedule posts, manage a content calendar, and meet deadlines consistently. Adaptability: Willingness to adjust content strategies based on audience feedback or platform algorithm changes. Team Player: Collaborative mindset to work with designers, marketers, or clients to align content with brand goals.
