TenburyCommunity Hospital is a rural inpatient setting of 22 beds that supportspatients as a step down to receive ongoing medical treatment, rehabilitation,discharge planning or end of life care which no longer requires acute supportbut cannot be managed in the community

Main duties of the job
As a Staff Nurse you will be responsible for providing care topeople admitted to our ward for rehabilitation. We work closely as amulti-disciplinary team. Our focusispromoting the comfort andwellbeing of patients, enablingthemto live as independently as possible.Tenbury is a small but friendly team to work with. As a team we encourageongoing learning and development through reflection and clinical supervisionwhich we try and embed in our daily practice. Our nurses are required to facilitatethe day to day running of the ward, administering medications, workingalongside all members of the MDT as well as patients, their families and carersto provided 24/7 rehabilitation to enable the highest level of independence andquality of life. Our nurses are required to attend meetings as needed such asMDT and CHC or Discharge Planning.

18. In consultation with seniorqualified staff, provide and monitor patient centred care within Trust agreedstandards.
19. In collaboration with otherteam members organise the reception and discharge of patients ensuringeffective communication in transfer of information.
20. Carry out delegated nursingcare.
21. Use and participate in research/ audit in care delivery.
22. Adhere to and promote allclinical practice, health and safety and corporate Trust Policies andGuidelines.
