Job Role : Accounts Receivable Assistant
Reporting to : Accounts Receivable Supervisor
Location : Head Office, Edgbaston, Birmingham

Key Responsibilities:
1. Accurate and timely inputting of sales orders & invoices into the finance system
2. Processing sales order cancellations, write offs, reinstatements and refunds
3. Creating and working of age debtor reports in order to chase debt on a timely basis
4. Working with branches to clear the AR balances
5. Dealing with the correct application of the discount vouchers
6. Dealing with customer and branch queries
7. Updating and maintaining various reconciliation reports
8. Ensuring adherence to company procedures and financial compliance by maintaining and reviewing weekly and periodic branch data
9. Assisting in other day-to-day and adhoc departmental tasks
Key Personal Attributes:
1. Excellent written and oral communication skills
2. Able to deal with high volumes
3. Intermediate skills in MS Excel and MS Word
